Elliot Turner 20, ‘flipped out’ and killed Emily Longley in a drunken rage after suspecting she might have been cheating on him, yesterday’s Telegraph reports. Miss Longley loved him but wanted him to ‘Stop being so controlling’. Mr Turner said his anger had been building up for months, he was jealous, possessive and suspicious.
I wonder how many of our clients have had some or all of these feelings at one time or another? Sadly it is a fact that anger, if not dealt with will continue to build. Mr Turner was unable to control himself due to his alcohol consumption and the anger that he had felt for some time finally exploded with tragic consequences.
